Silego Samples New Line of Low Power EMI Clock Generators and Zero Delay Buffers

Santa Clara - April 28, 2008 - SILEGO Technology introduces two new lines of Low Power EMI Spread Spectrum Clock Generators and Zero Delay Buffers, both of which are part of Silego's Media Timing Generator product family targeted at both emerging and growth markets including consumer electronics, mobile devices, note-book PCs, and peripherals. EMI Clock Generators eliminate the need for expensive shielding, and lowers total BOM cost by eliminating the need for expensive filters by lowering the total peak EMI radiation generated by clock signals.

Silego's new line of EMI Clock Generators consist of an EMI Clock Generator with Factory Programmable Non-Volatile Memory and FrequencyAware technology. FrequencyAware is an industry first technology which automatically detects the input frequency and eliminates the needs for input frequency selection pins. In addition, Silego incorporates standard 1x, 2x, and 4x multiplier EMI Clock Generators for off the shelf use.
