Zero Delay Buffers are clock distribution devices that exhibits zero propagation delay. Zero delay buffers are used in a wide range of consumer and communications applications including routers, digital TVs, switches, VDSL, GbE, and (MFP) Multi-Function Printers.

Introducing the SLG220X – 4/5/8/9
The SLG220X-4/5/8/9 are high frequency, low jitter, low skew Zero Delay Clock Fanout Buffers (Zero Delay Buffers) featuring 4, 5, 8, and 9 outputs. In addition, all of Silego’s Zero Delay Buffers features a 1MHz to 3MHz input bandwidth for spread spectrum tracking, industries fastest clock input, capable of 180MHz, industries lowest generated cycle to cycle jitter of less then 80ps, and less then 100ps of output to output skew.

Challenges
Designing Zero Delay Buffers that features high frequency range, low skew, and low cycle to cycle jitter is not an easy task. At Silego, it is believed that we have met these challenges, and produced some of the world’s highest performance Zero Delay Buffers.

SLG2204 and SLG2205 are offered in a 8-pin, SOIC package and are priced at $1.25 each in 1000 unit quantities. The SLG2208 and SLG2209 are offered in a 16-pin TSSOP package and are priced at $1.40 each in 1000 unit quantities. All of these devices are available and in production now.
